Building a centralized digital learning ecosystem in the field of mechanical engineering and hydraulics in China
As part of this project, a comprehensive digital learning ecosystem was set up in the field of mechanical engineering and hydraulics in China. The aim was to be able to play out content centrally via a standardized central learning ecosystem. So far, our partners have successfully used the Supratix ecosystem in Germany, Europe and countries such as India, Brazil and the USA.Our partner companies Rhein Köster and Advanced Training Technologies have a global presence in the industry, with leading locations for research, development and innovation centers in Shenzhen, Zibo and Deggendorf. They build and operate training and research facilities for industrial technology and offer programs tailored to the needs of industrial companies, leading institutions, vocational schools and research universities. The effort required to support customers in China was very high due to the large number of individual customers and the use of different platforms. The Supratix platform offers flexible and configurable solutions that meet specific requirements. Its ability to integrate practical projects and its user-friendliness make it the ideal choice for this project. An outstanding unique selling point (USP) of the platform is its automation, user journey optimization and escalation management features.A major challenge was to respond to the technical, organizational and legal framework conditions in China and to implement the requirements without compromising the platform's special functions. The implementation of the learning ecosystem in mechanical engineering and hydraulics in China has the potential to significantly improve the quality of training, promote knowledge transfer and increase innovation. The Supratix platform has proven to be an effective tool to achieve these goals. The ecosystem can be scaled to other technical disciplines and regions in China. By integrating the global Supratix marketplace, other international partners will also be able to provide their services in China with just a few clicks in the future. With this …
Efficient digitalization of online learning events and evaluation processes at the Sächsische Verwaltungs- und Wirtschafts-Akademie e.V.
The Sächsische Verwaltungs- und Wirtschafts-Akademie e.V. (S-VWA), an independent educational institution, offers various part-time degree courses and a wide range of further education opportunities. As a prerequisite for various subsidies that students can claim, processes and management are subject to an annual quality audit (ISO 9001; AZAV, FIBAA certification for the diploma courses). To this end, the evaluation of teaching must be verified. Some of the courses offered by the S-VWA take the form of online learning events. Until now, various members of staff have been responsible for managing meeting rooms and sending invitation links to lecturers and students. In addition, an evaluation form had to be sent out and evaluated after each event. This error-prone process ran in various tools and required a considerable amount of time and coordination.S-VWA was looking for a solution that would allow an employee with limited IT skills to manage the entire process in one tool. SupraTix digitized the entire process using existing modules and optimized and automated the execution. An employee plans all courses in an external software system for course planning and exports the Excel file with all relevant information about the course and the dates. This file is imported into the platform via a shortcut, whereupon the following processes are started:The online classrooms for the course are scheduled and set up.An online evaluation questionnaire is created for each event according to a template and only activated at certain times, before and after the respective event.Lecturers and those responsible automatically receive invitation links by e-mail (different ones for lecturers and participants) as well as the link to the evaluation. It is ensured that only people with this link have access to the event. In addition, recordings of online events can be made available to learners for a certain period of time via this link. The evaluation results can …
Shaping Digital Transformation: The Pioneering Project 'Digital-Lotsen-Sachsen' ('Digital Guides Saxony') Enhances Digital Competencies in Saxon Municipalities
The “Digital-Lotsen-Sachsen” project aims to strengthen and expand digital expertise in Saxony's cities and municipalities. This enables local administrations to actively and independently shape the digital transformation. The core of the program is the training of employees in face-to-face, hybrid and online courses to equip them for the challenges of digital transformation and provide relevant information. In view of the current challenges in the digitalization of districts and municipalities in Germany, where there is a lack of comprehensive knowledge and the ability to adapt existing processes to digital requirements, the platform offers training and suitable tools for knowledge transfer. The target group is administrative staff in Saxony's municipalities and districts. Each district and municipality is to receive its own platform instance, in which specific courses and workshops on digitalization will be made available. The long-term goal is to establish an online platform that will not only remain in place during the project but also beyond, covering a wide range of municipal administration topics. The possibility of expanding the user group to include other authorities and municipal service providers is planned. The technical implementation includes the provision of a scalable, secure and user-friendly platform. Following a thorough needs analysis, high-quality, practical online courses and workshops were developed. The introduction of the platform began with a pilot phase in selected municipalities, followed by a gradual rollout. Training courses and workshops were organized to make it easier for employees to use the platform, and an effective support system was established to quickly resolve technical and content-related issues.Modules: Admin (with UserJourney, group management), Creator, training catalog, contacts, StoreConnect, chat, forum, learning world of Digital-Lotsen-Sachsen, widgets
Integration of voicebots in training: increasing sales effectiveness.
In the dynamic world of sales, continuous employee training is crucial. The challenge is to develop effective training methods that are both cost-efficient and scalable. This is where the use of a voicebot offers an innovative solution.Traditional sales training is often time-consuming and requires a lot of manpower, especially when training sales calls. Participants have to call each other, practise conversations and run through scenarios, which is not standardized and can only be implemented with considerable effort.Scalable and efficient training through technologyThe aim is to develop a technical solution that enables telephone calls to be practiced efficiently - from support to sales, scalable and flexible, with minimal personnel input. The solution should be suitable for training purposes as well as for direct end customer contact.Development of a customized voicebot: methodology and technologiesThe creation of a customer-specific voicebot model based on a mathematical model with various data sources enables customized training. The voicebot can be configured in the desired language and voice to suit different use cases and linked data sources. The Supratix voicebot has already been successfully used in the “Agile Project Management” simulation game and is individually adapted to defined processes for business simulations. The voicebot initiates calls and the employee responds to them. This enables a dynamic and adaptive development of the conversation. Responses are tracked and can be analyzed in feedback discussions. A voicebot can take on different roles - cooperative or challenging - to train different scenarios such as de-escalation or closing quality. To enable a seamless and efficient interaction between user and voicebot, with a focus on intelligibility, naturalness and responsiveness, different technologies work together depending on the requirements of each project.Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR): Web Speech API; Speech Recognition Grammar Specification (SRGS)Natural language processing (NLP): Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK), spaCyDialog management: Dialogflow or Microsoft Bot FrameworkText-to-speech (TTS): …
